Global warming is the process of which the planet heats up. We humans produce a lot of carbon dioxide which thickens the atmosphere and traps the some of the energy inside it, heating the planet and as humans are creating more carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, it will make the atmosphere even thicker and will trap more heat. This is the main cause of global warming.
The greenhouse gases come from factories and power stations etc. that burn fossil fuels. The burnt fossil fuel then turns into carbon dioxide which thickens the atmosphere. One factory doesn’t matter very much but there are 10000 in total so that’ll make a difference.
