Rainwater Tanks

Have you ever wondered why some people run out of water when the weather is dry? What about those big tanks taking up so much room in their gardens? This explanation will tell you all about rainwater tanks.

A rainwater tank is when people collect rainwater into a tank for their drinking water and their showers. Sometimes if there has been a drought then that means that quite often these people have no water and have to order a new tank full of water. This is a sustainable way of keeping water and not having to go through the whole process of recycled water that have been used by other people.

These massive tanks are usually made of concrete and are usually blue or grey. They take up a lot of room which is one of the cons of being sustainable. Although they take up lots of room in your garden you can still decorate them to match the features in your garden so it looks really nice and it can help other plants to grow. Sometimes people have different ones and are sometimes hidden under shelters so that it doesn't take up too much room.

I think that you should get a rainwater tank and be just that little bit more sustainable.
